I was surprised to find a Marni store in a corner of Miami's Design District. Then I found out my post about Tomas Maier was a bit out-of-date, because he has moved his shop to the same 39th street where Marni is, and again, the store is divine! En Avance moved their boutique to the strip after 14 years on Lincoln Road, and Y-3 has also set up shop a few storefronts down. Its nice to see some fashion in the area that is primarily an interior decorator's hang out.

Check out Deerhunter's Microcastle, ideal for low key gatherings where you don't want your music overpowering conversation or for long drives when everyone else in the car is passed out.

This headboard was made from an old Indian blanket, found in Domino's photo gallery. I would prefer a more simple bedspread so the headboard and bedskirt stand out more, but this combination works too.

I want to be wearing this right now, towel on my head and all.

Monocle is one of my favorite publications. Its content, design, and innovation are like nothing else. Now they've opened up shop in London's Marylebone area featuring products from their collaborations with fancy labels. This is one not to be missed.

I'm helping my mom decorate our beach apartment, and I love this mexican tapestry that can serve as a bedspread. From LaViva Home

I am in love with photographer Mads Teglers. Found it via Miss at la Playa

I haven't visited this little gem in Miami in a few years, but it always remains in my mind as the perfect beach shop. Tomas Maier's Miami Beach boutique is off the beaten path in an old Miami Beach home located in an area predominantly inhibited by tow trucks and photo studios. Here you can find Bottegas, Bikinis, and pretty much a finely curated stock of anything you might need for beachcombing with style. You can also find great books, cds, candles, and usually they have photo exhibit showing.

If you're looking for a little wardrobe inspiration then pick up Simon Doonan's Eccentric Glamour. Barney's Creative Director is really quite entertaining, I'm pretty sure I was laughing to myself on the plane.
