I have a nail appointment Sunday to get my nails did at the Dzine/Salon94 nail salon at the Standard Hotel this Sunday. Part art installation, Chicago-based artist Dzine is having a makeshift nail salon offering manicures as part if his "Nailed" book launch this weekend, the second book published by The Standard Press. The book examines crazy nail adornment from across the globe. More info here.

The former Galeria Perrotin is now The M Building, but Emmanuel will still be holding his annual Basel party at the space on Tuesday night along with other gallerists and whitewall.

I'll be out of town for this one, but Au Revour Simone will be play at Mamushka's in Midtown December 10th.  $15.

OHWOW is pleased to announce It Ain’t Fair 2011: Materialism, to coincide with Art Basel Miami Beach. The 2011 installment of this annual group show, now in its fourth year, takes on a thematic focus: materialism.
