Elisa Sednaoui in Miami via Tales of Endearment. She wears a items from the vintage collection of part time Miami Beach dweller Keni Valenti. He also just opened Keni Valenti Gallery, a fashion archive, in Wynwood. His first 8 week exhibition pays tribute to Yves Saint Laurent.

This is just great. Its crushed velvet with some sort of mossy Stonehenge Tetris pattern along with ruffles made from the father's day necktie tables at Burdines. Investment piece.

This is fun. Just discovered another local Etsy shop, RIDICULOUSWEAR. I still have mixed feelings about Etsy. I'm all about doing the legwork (fingerwork?) to find the goods, but there's way too much junk on there. That said, I love my new chairs.

Also in a freaky google search for Jeff Koons I somehow came across the room divider I found years ago at the Chelsea Garage Flea Market, and now I know who made it, Robert Fellner and Mark Hurst for Furnette. Not quite Paul McCobb, but for now it stores my book hoards nicely. It was featured in an ad for Halpern & Gillman in 1958.

Favorite jewelry designer Nektar de Stagni is closing up the store on 38th Street at the end of the year (she'll be back...but for now she's going to be doing pop-ups around the States)....until then she has new vintage at her shop including Valentino, Givenchy, and more. Also check her current pop up shop at MoCA in North Miami along with Donna Karan's "Urban Zen"Collection, where you can find artwork, housewares, and jewelry created by Haitian women.

Not sure what I love more the house or the chairs.
The iconic “Hardoy Chair 198″, aka The Butterfly Chair, The BKF Chair, whatever you want to call it, was designed by Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy in 1938. It was produced by Knoll but they dropped it from their line when they lost the legal battle against all the copies that were being reproduced. Image via here.
